The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is an important day to mark Australian school communities standing together against bullying and violence.
On Friday 19 March 2021, let’s Take Action Together and empower students to rally and unite their ideas and actions to address bullying.
School communities across the nation are the key drivers of the NDA and proudly represent eleven years of positive action.
The NDA can create positive change for students, staff and the overall school environment.
The Shape the Future of the NDA Survey analysed the impact of the NDA and found the longer schools are involved in the NDA, the stronger the results.
Of schools participating in the NDA for more than five years:
In addition, schools that have participated for one or two years reported a 77% increase in whole school community conversation and understanding of anti-bullying messages, with 81% experiencing positive parent communication about their school values and culture.

This year, schools that have previously participated in the NDA are not required to take any action to register for the 2021 NDA. They will automatically receive updates from Bullying. No Way!
