On the 2018 National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, communities will take action and share their commitment to a world where bullying and violence have no place.
The Office of the eSafety Commissioner is inviting Australian schools to participate in interactive Virtual Classrooms on the National Day.
These free virtual classrooms for primary schools encourage students to Imagine a future free from cyberbullying.
These session asks students to imagine a school where students use technology without fear of bullying and harassment. A place where students feel empowered to solve online bullying issues together and where teachers and students work together to ensure safe online spaces place for all.
The sessions will focus on teaching practical strategies on preventing, managing and report cyberbullying and harassment online.
Students, at the end of the session, will be encouraged to generate their own big ideas for a world free from cyberbullying as part of the 2018 NDA.
The virtual classroom runs for approximately 40 minutes and is suitable for students in Years 4, 5 and 6.
