National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
The sixth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence was held on Friday, 18 March 2016.
This annual day is Australia's key anti-bullying event for schools, and encourages all students to 'take a stand together' against bullying and violence in schools, the classroom and beyond.
This year more than 2060 schools, with more than 930,000 students across Australia participated by running local events, inviting guest speakers and running classroom lessons. Congratulations to schools for a fantastic response!
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence is a great opportunity to share your school's anti-bullying policies, strategies and programs with your school community.
Help deliver a powerful message that bullying and violence is never okay.
Resources for the whole school and the classroom created for the National Day remain available for schools to use throughout year, including lesson plans, school events, class activities and downloadable materials.
